A girl of approximately three years was rescued after falling into a water tank in the municipality of Chalco, east of the State of Mexico.According to reports, neighbors realized that the girl was inside the water container due to the cries for help.The minor was yelling at her parents to help her, however, she was alone at her home.Municipal policemen moved to the community of Amalinalco and with the help of one of the neighbors they managed to jump into the patio of the house.Immediately one of the elements took the minor out of the water tank and put her to safety.After a review they confirmed that the girl was abandoned at home without adult supervision.The minor of unknown identity was transferred to the Municipal DIF where her state of health is assessed and an investigation was initiated to determine the conditions in which she develops.María Lucila "N" and her partner Javier "N" were admitted to the Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center of Chalco, after abandoning a minor under 3 years of age, daughter of the aforementioned, in a water tank.The couple was arrested for her probable participation in the crime of family violence, since they would have placed the girl inside the water container and then abandoned her.Both were made available to the judicial authority at the Chalco Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center, who will determine their legal status in the next few hours.
